Children’s Home Society and Nancy Maloney, Candidate for Circuit Court Judge

October 6th, 2014

With Co-Host Denise Gore, another great show!

Children’s Home Society joins us today to tell us about their foundation and how we can get involved.  Teresa Gail Miles, Executive Director and Maria Seelman share with us the mission of CHS:  We protect and heal children. We build and strengthen families. We rescue and embrace teens struggling to survive on their own. How? Through parent education, counseling, early education and care, in-home services, and connections to local resources, we help families learn to nurture their children to full potential. We also help families raising children with developmental delays. Offering physical and speech therapy, nursing and medical services, counseling, and more, we help kids reach milestones while providing hope to the entire family. www.chsfl.org

We are also joined by Nancy Maloney, who is a candidate for Circuit Judge, 18th Circuit, Group 23 in the upcoming election. She will talk about the campaign trail, why it is so important for everyone to vote and some insights into why she is the best candidate for the job. You will also learn about her background and her passions. www.nancymaloneyforjudge.com

Viewpoint with Seeta and Friends airs each Monday on 1300 WMEL, The Talk to Me Station in Cocoa Florida at the Noon to 1 pm hour.  We talk about politics, community affairs, education and entertainment in Brevard County, Nationwide and Internationally.  Each week we  have a guest that gives us more education about how we can get involved, heal ourselves or educate our families on what matters.   Tune in!
