Dana Packard, Palm Bay Police and Randy Foster, Candidate for County Commissioner District #3

October 19, 2015

Dana Packard, Palm Bay Police Victim Advocate Supervisor and Randy Foster, Candidate for 2016 County Commissioner – are our guests today on the show. Viewpoint with Seeta and Friends is focused and determined to help educating our citizens of Brevard County about how many wonderful people are here – giving their time, energy, and careers to help others and to be the voice for those that need one.

Dana Packard shares with us the Victim Advocate program that she is the supervisor of in Palm Bay. Each municipality has a support service like this – and if any one calls Dana she will refer you to the right department – however, she is not adverse to helping either way.  Take back the Night, October 30the from 6:30 to 8:30 is an awareness event about domestic violence – the City of Palm Bay and vendors are hosting this great family event with food, fun, and games. The purpose is to educate the public that One in Three women, and One in Four Men are the victims of Domestic Violence – and we want the citizens to understand the signs to report.  The Victim Advocate Services provided are confidential as long as it does not involve child abuse or elder abuse.

Randy Foster also joined us. As a former Police Officer and Retired US Marshall and Veteran – Randy is using his skills to help make changes in Brevard County. He is an advocate for Seniors, Hungry Children, Veterans, and Tax reform. His campaign, self-admittedly, has been challenged because of his ideas for change in these areas. You will hear Randy’s passion and leadership quality in this interview. He states exactly how he plans on making change and being a voice of reason for those who cannot fend for themselves.  Seeta and Ellen really had a great conversation with Randy and we love his ideas, his passion, and his love for Brevard County and his Country.
