Jennifer Winters and Andres Useche, Leader in Immigration reform

November 24th, 2014

Jennifer Winters is an immigrant that is often overlooked in the legal system. Her family came to the US from Germany and all but she was able to establish her citizenship. She is on her final “extension” before she will have to return to Germany, where she now has no family.  She is a college student, who cannot work now because her citizenship is being challenged. She moved to the US when she was 10 years old. She is much more American than she is German.  Listen to her story.

Our second guest is Andrés Useche.  He is an award-winning Colombian American writer, film director, graphic artist, singer-songwriter and activist. Andres is a  leader in immigration reform. He has lobbied in Washington, written songs in support of change for immigration laws and has been an activist for years. He has an update for us on the current state of the executive order and how that is changing things.

Viewpoint with Seeta and Friends airs each Monday on 1300 WMEL, The Talk to Me Station in Cocoa Florida at the Noon to 1 pm hour.  We talk about politics, community affairs, education and entertainment in Brevard County, Nationwide and Internationally.  Each week we  have a guest that gives us more education about how we can get involved, heal ourselves or educate our families on what matters.   Tune in!
